SMART CITY TALENT DEVELOPMENT - ENGAGEMENT WITH JOHOR CIVIL SERVICE ACADEMY (24 June 2025)

The Johor Smart City Talent Development initiative was formally initiated through a preliminary engagement hosted by the Johor Smart City Secretariat, PLANMalaysia Johor with the Johor Civil Service Academy. The initiative was aimed for the Johor Civil Service, primarily focusing on the local councils in Johor.

The session focused on aligning leadership development to support the delivery of the Johor State Smart City Blueprint 2030, particularly strengthening program management capabilities across the Smart City Maturity Journey. This strategic discussion marks an important step toward institutionalising structured, competency-based smart city leadership training to accelerate coordinated delivery, governance excellence and system-driven implementation across Johor’s 16 local authorities.
