At the Perak State Leadership Retreat 2026, SCPA had the honour of serving as a panel member in a strategic forum themed “Transforming Data and AI in Strengthening State Public Services As part of Perak Smart City Framework.” The dialogue focused on strengthening Perak’s smart city and digital economy agenda through a Data-First approach, breaking institutional silos, and embedding a culture of evidence-based decision-making across state agencies.
Emphasising “Back to Basics” in data governance and delivery systems, the session highlighted the importance of establishing a single source of truth, integrated platforms, and program governance structures to ensure measurable impact.
The forum brought together leaderships of state government and agencies to align digital transformation initiatives with practical program management frameworks—positioning Perak to accelerate smart city implementation, enhance public service delivery, and unlock sustainable economic value through coordinated digital transformation.
