At the Johor Smart City Forum 2025 (JSCF2025), the Smart Cities Program Alliance (SCPA) in partnership with Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) co-organised a strategic cross-border dialogue bringing together industry leaders from Malaysia and Singapore to deliberate on the realisation of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ).
Moderated by Datuk Nik Ahmad Faizul Mallek, the session focused on positioning smart cities as a catalyst for the Innovation-to-Market (I2M) pipeline, strengthening public-private partnerships, and bridging supply, innovation, and market demand through a structured Smart City marketplace platform.
The dialogue generated practical insights on investment models, ecosystem coordination, talent development, data sharing, and collaborative pilot projects—reinforcing the role of an integrated Smart City Program framework in attracting, anchoring, and scaling sustainable investments across the JS-SEZ.
