The Johor Smart City Focus Group Discussion (FGD) brought together representatives from all 16 local councils under the coordination of PLANMalaysia@Johor as Secretariat of the Johor Smart City Blueprint 2030 implementation. During the Teach-In and Synchronisation Workshop, SCPA was invited to deliver a strategic briefing on Smart City Program Management and Smart City Talent Development, emphasising the need to move beyond fragmented projects towards structured, program-driven delivery systems.
The session highlighted the importance of governance alignment, capability building, and coordinated execution across councils to ensure that the Blueprint is operationalised through competent leadership, clear program structures, and sustainable talent pipelines at both state and local levels.
