The Workshop on Baseline Digitalisation Readiness Assessment for Alor Gajah Municipal Council (MPAG) was designed to evaluate the council’s internal digitalisation readiness in support the Alor Gajah Smart City Action Plan 2030.
The workshop aimed to systematically identify MPAG’s current level of digital maturity across core operational functions, determine critical digitalisation gaps that may pose risks to implementation, and prioritise key digital initiatives and capacity-building actions required moving forward.
Through a structured self-assessment process, participants were guided on assessment methodology, analytical approaches, and maturity level evaluation to ensure a clear, evidence-based baseline that will strengthen governance, accelerate program delivery, and sustainable smart city delivery as well as inculcating digitalisation culture within the local council operations.
