This 1-day sprint (micro learning) course is designed to help cities and townships rapidly develop a structured, practical, and launch-ready Smart City Action Plan. Participants will learn how to set clear strategic direction, profile the current city scenario, and align smart city ambitions with realistic delivery capabilities.
The course introduces a proven action plan framework covering strategies, prioritised projects and enabling activities, as well as governance and delivery management mechanisms to ensure execution beyond planning.
Emphasis is placed on fast-tracking early momentum while maintaining program-level discipline, robust delivery management and stakeholder alignment—enabling participants to produce an actionable Smart City Action Plan that balances speed, feasibility, and long-term scalability.
